Guidelines for Senior NCAA Signing Days (2024 - 2025)
To celebrate our senior student-athletes who will be continuing their athletic careers in college, West Deptford High School has established guidelines for signing days. We have aligned our dates with the official NCAA signing periods, which are coordinated with the National Letter of Intent (NLI) program. The NLI is a binding agreement between the student-athlete and a Division I or Division II academic institution, which has offered the student-athlete financial assistance. We also have a Spring Signing Day for Division III, NAIA and Junior College student-athletes.
The athletics office will share signing day photographs and information. Student-athletes planning to continue their athletic careers in college should let the athletics office know as soon as the NLI has been made available or the student has been admitted to the academic institution, use this link to send the necessary information - NCAA Signing Day Form
For the 2024 - 2025 SY, the following dates are in effect:
Fall Signing Day: November 13, 2024
All student-athletes, except Football, who have a National Letter of Intent (NLI) will be recognized during this signing session. Based on the NCAA’s recommendation, student-athletes with a commitment to a Division I or Division II institution that does not offer NLIs (Ivy League Schools and Service Academies, for example) will be invited to participate.
Early Football Signing Day: December 4, 2024
All Football student-athletes who have an NLI will be recognized during this signing session. Based on the NCAA’s recommendation, student-athletes with a commitment to a Division I or Division II institution that does not offer NLIs (Ivy League Schools and Service Academies, for example) will be invited to participate.
Winter Signing Day: February 5, 2025
All student-athletes who have an NLI will be recognized during this signing session. This includes all Division I and Division II athletes, except Basketball, that committed to schools after the November 13 Signing Day or Football athletes that committed after the December 4 Signing Day. Based on the NCAA’s recommendation, student-athletes with a commitment to a Division I or Division II institution that does not offer NLIs (Ivy League Schools and Service Academies, for example) will be invited to participate.
Spring Signing Day: May 8, 2025 All student-athletes who will be continuing their athletic careers at a Division III, NAIA or JuCo school will be recognized during this session. Student-athletes may bring the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Celebratory Signing Form. Division I or Division II student-athletes who committed after the fall and winter signing dates also will be invited to participate.
